The Holodeck | Marketing Plan

Well, here we are, party people. At the end of another quarter. How is this possible? I mean, seriously. Were we not just discussing Marketing Segmentation (for the third time) as I introduced y’all to The Holodeck and may or may not have attempted to score brownie points with my super cool teacher by calling out his super coolness? It’s insane. (Not the teacher. He’s indeed pretty dang cool in real life.)

NE Hoo – this whole quarter has been ramping up to this very moment. Who is The Holodeck and why do they matter? What are their marketing goals and how do we exceed said goals? Who’s their target and how are we gonna reel ‘em in and then keep them forever and ever in a totally non-creepy way?

You’ve been at the edge of your seat. You’ve marked the calendar. You’ve even lost a little sleep because the mystery has been getting the better of you. Grab some popcorn, my friends. I present to you . . .


The Holodeck Marketing Plan.

(Don’t freak out. I provide pretty pictures of the video’s contents later.)

I created that fancy pants video to show how this puppy looks in motion – minus the proper timing because the point is to show off the bells and whistles in about 60 seconds. Obviously, if you were Anne from The Holodeck, you’d see this thing in all its glory – along with enough time to read through and discuss each slide without that internal frantic feeling that each slide will transition before you’re done. (As a fellow take-it-all-in reader – i.e.: not the speediest – that frantic feeling is legit and I see you.) Calm yourself and enjoy these individual pages sans-animations or transitions.

So, that’s it! Chapter closed. Quarter completed. Mic drop. Peace out. Kisses and stuff.
